Adriana Bustelo

I am a level 10 gymnast at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy (CGA) in Fairfield Ohio.  I am currently coached by Rachael Tracy, Cassandra Whitcomb, and Devin Wright.

I am 16 years old; I was born in August of 2002.  I have one brother named  Manolo, who is 13 years old.  My parents, Walter and Mariluz, put me in gymnastics classes because I was always jumping off the walls and off the couches when I was younger.

 

I started gymnastics classes when I was three.  The first gym that I went to was Capital Gymnastics in Burke, Virginia. My dad is in the Air Force, so my family and I moved from state to state all the time.  In 2013, my dad was transferred to Dayton, Ohio, so I had to start at a new school and gym.  The gym we picked was Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy.  I loved it right away!

Right now, I am a Junior in high school.  My GPA is 3.54 and my favorite subjects are math and science. As of right now, I am not fully decided on a major yet, but I am thinking in pursuing a degree in Animal Science.

 

When I am not at the gym, I love to cook or bake, do arts and crafts, and spend time with my teammates and family.
